Art New Year Pool Party 2023, saturated with exuberant hues and vibrancy, is happening at Metadee Concept Hotel on 2022 New Year’s Eve. The hotel, which officially rebranded and launched in early 2022, is located in the heart of the buzzing Kata district, boasting a spectacular 800 meters-long pool encapsulated in a verdant landscape.

Concept and design, as the name alludes, play an indiscriminately vital role in the operation of the establishment. Two concepts are conceived within the hotel: Metadee Villa is the more traditional, serene, and verdantly lush concept with fine canopy beds and wooden décor for guests seeking a tranquil oasis away from the busy world outside. Metadee Elite is a modern, colorful, and art-centric concept with clean aesthetics and spacious rooms for those who desire a stylish and active contemporary lifestyle.

The event “Art New Year Pool Party 2023” unfolds alongside the exhibition “An Artist’s City.” Together, they welcome the new year with a striking sense of spectacle.

As the night progresses, sound and flavour take centre stage. A curated DJ lineup, featuring Phuket’s Groove and Trainwidewalker, sets a vibrant rhythm. At the same time, an international buffet reveals refined craftsmanship, each creation shaped with artisanal care.

The atmosphere builds with intensity. Music, art, and gastronomy merge seamlessly. The result feels immersive, elevated, and unmistakably celebratory.

The exhibition is curated by Metadee Concept Art, a dedicated creative collective supported by Metadee Concept Hotel. It introduces “An Artist’s City” as its inaugural showcase.

The project brings together 13 international and local artists. Each voice is distinct. Profiles range from established names featured in Thailand’s Biennale to emerging creatives and environmental advocates.

As the narrative unfolds, diversity becomes the defining element. Works move across mediums with fluidity. Photography meets canvas. Reimagined forms blend with digital expression, including animated visuals and NFT pieces. Each artwork reveals a personal vision, rich in meaning and interpretation.

At the same time, curation plays a central role. Light is used with precision. Atmosphere becomes part of the artwork itself. A contemporary tone meets a subtle futuristic edge, shaping a fully immersive experience.
