Current conditions at Metadee

We would like to reassure our guests that Metadee is located in a safe, sheltered area and has remained unaffected by the recent flooding. At the time of this update, the resort is not facing an immediate flood threat, and our guests and team are safe and well.

Local context and ongoing monitoring

We understand that news reports and images circulating online may have caused concern for anyone planning a visit to Phuket. Some communities have experienced serious flooding and very difficult conditions. However, the impact varies by location: scenes from affected neighbourhoods do not represent conditions across the entire island.

Our thoughts are with everyone whose homes, livelihoods and daily lives have been affected, and with those supporting their communities through the recovery.

Local authorities have issued precautionary evacuation notices for specifically identified high-risk communities and arranged temporary shelters to help protect residents in vulnerable locations.

Our team follows updates from local authorities every day and continues to monitor conditions at the resort. We will keep our guests informed of any relevant changes.
